1. What is Alpha Networks?

Alpha Networks is a company providing SaaS & PaaS video distribution products. It's articulated around 3 main products, all using the same software we've developed:

  • Tucano: a modular backend, managing content ingestion, workflow control, enrichment, monetization & publication.
  • Gecko: a full end-to-end solution, using the same backend and modularity than Tucano, and adding white-label frontends on top.
  • Bee: a "simpler" Gecko, turnkey solution, with no custom integration points available.

2. What was the challenge you were facing before using Archbee?

Before using Archbee, we had developed a documentation in-house, but it was hard to maintain and wasn't up to the standards we aim for. Our product documentation needed to be fast to maintain, with no technical knowledge for our product documentation team, while being thorough and easy to browse for the end-users.

3. What made you choose Archbee over other solutions?

We evaluated alternatives across a range of features and price tag. Here are some of the criteria that were important to us:

  • Markdown import (our previous doc was in markdown format)
  • Ability to operate multiple spaces (for each product)
  • Versioning
  • Branding
  • Support for tech documentation (OpenAPI, GraphQL ...)

4. Can you share your business outcomes after implementing Archbee for your documentation?

While we are convinced our new documentation surpasses the previous one, we haven't yet run a survey to gather user satisfaction. What would be great though, is if you had some basic analytics to allow us to see what pages are the most viewed.
