What is Back4app?

Back4app is a backend-as-a-service (BaaS) platform that helps developers build scalable back end faster for their applications faster by providing serverless architecture, database management, and APIs for deployment and scaling.

What were the challenges you were facing before using Archbee?

Before using Archbee, we struggled with disorganized documentation and ineffective team collaboration. We were using Jekyll, but it became quite messy. We provide documentation to for our users to use our platform. The process of creating the docs, publishing them, and brining together external contributors to help us create those docs were very painful. People who were creating docs for us had to emulate all the environment on their machines and that was very weird. When we moved to Archbee that completely disappeared and we were able to quickly deploy the docs and add new people to our platform. In a few clicks, they were already creating docs.  

What made you choose Archbee over the alternatives?

Other alternatives were not as developer-focused. Archbee was the one that was very easy to use and had a hosted solution. We didn't want to host the platform. It has a very good response time. One aspect that we valued when analyzing was the Google page speed. Archbee was leading when analyzing that criteria. For our users it was the best solution because it provides a developer-friendly interface.

Another huge advantage of Archbee were some of the out-of-the-box features that we didn't have previously, like search, and specific widgets and sections for code lie Python or Swift. We should provide developers snippets of code, and Archbee has a very flexibile environment to deliver that kind of content. The UI is very customizable and very easy to set up.  That was a jump in terms of productivity. We were able to publish our docs in record time. The user experience was amazing. We easily se  up our interfaces to comply with our guidelines and that was very easy.

Can you share any business outcomes?

Our users now have a user-friendly portal with new features like search, very easy-to--understand coding boxes with a proper UI for each of the languages. The productivity in creating and publishing docs for our users has been amazing.
